About the event
Who are we in relationship with in the 'more-than-human' world. Our dogs, certainly. How about our cars, does yours have a name? Your water bottle, do you have affection for it? Our homes, that sofa that you inherited from grandma, or the ring on your finger that was your mother's, or the tree that you greet every day, the plant that you talk to when you water her? The moon when she rises, the wind when it blows through the trees, the summer rain?
Animism is a broad term. We'll explore some writers, Robin Wall Kimmerer and David Abram who explore deeply what it means to be in relationship with the more than human world and try to recognize where we are already in relationship, and how our perceptions shifts when we consider this relationship.
